I have spent the last number of years trying to pin down what my "thing" is, that artistic type of work that can be clearly identified as mine. I have discovered that having one "thing" is not my thing! I love to put down paint on a canvas or panel and seeing what I can make it do. Mixing my own colours and building layer upon layer until I achieve a piece I am in love with. That is what I have discovered is MY thing, where I find my joy in creating art, in the process not the subject matter. That said, my work usually ends up in one of three categories, seen below and have varying degrees of abstraction. The more abstract landscapes can be found in the abstract category along with most non-representational art. In each category the available pieces are at the top. I have left the sold pieces on the pages as I welcome commissions and they give you an idea of what I have previously created.
