Large sized abstract representation of a rock outcrop. This other worldly scene portrays the feeling of groundedness and stability. The title comes from the word Numinous which means mysterious or awe-inspiring and which C.S. Lewis described as being seemingly "lit by a light from beyond the world". When I read this description I thought it perfectly captured the feeling of this painting and this series.
