Courage and Curiosity, Introduction to Acrylics - May 20, 2026
1-day in-person workshop with Deb Menken at the Alton Mill Arts Centre, 1402 Queen St. West, Studio 208 , Alton, Ontario
May 20, 2026 10 am - 4 pm
You will learn all the great reasons to use acrylics, some tips and tools, a bit of colour theory, how to mix your own colours, keep your paints from drying out, paint without a brush and follow your curiosity using a good dose of courage. All this will happen in a sketchbook. This is to encourage play and experimentation rather than creating a finished masterpiece! You will leave with the tools you need to continue to follow your curiosity with courage while playing in your sketchbook.
